We are so deeply saddened about your loss. May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob comfort you and the family at this time. What a wonderful person Maralyn truly was. I/we feel completely blessed to have been part of her life even as short as it was. How we'll always remember our times in Europe together and our short visits here in America. We miss you and love you deeply. If there's anything we may do for you let us know. We're still in Florida.

Your in our prayers and on our hearts.

Love in Yashua,
David and Robyn Bowen

We just came across this blog the other day. My husband has worked with a friend of yours, and he cancelled their appt. because of Maralyn's funeral. He sent along the blog, knowing it would be a blessing to us--he was right.

I will be praying for your family during this difficult time. God bless.

I must say I have been impacted by Maralyn and we didn't know much of each other! We need more Godly women to mentor us other women here in Finland. If anyone can help me, I would love to get more of her cookbooks. The International church folks brag about having this book and often bring her dishes to potlucks. Reminds of the Scripture when a woman died and many weeped and mourned showing the beautiful things she had made. Thank you for my cookbook Maralyn, it was worth every recipe! We'll see you in Heaven!

I also am deeply saddened at your loss and am praying for you, Paul and David and the rest of your family.

Maralyn was one of those special people you could meet and see infrequently, but in those brief interludes of time you felt like she was a life-long friend.

I regularly followed her blog and have been encouraged, instructed, motivated and often deeply moved by her inspirational journal entries. I would strongly encourage you to have them made into a book some day in order that her writings would continue to speak into the hearts and lives of people everywhere who are going through trials.

Heaven is richer today because of her presence, and yes, I too can picture her huge smile when she met Jesus fact to face. What joy!

God's love, peace and comfort to all of you,

I have leaned to love you so much. Maralyn have touched my life and so did you. I pray and I bag God that His Spirit will comfort you in such a time as this. The world has lost a great woman, but heaven is so much brighter.

Dear Jim and family, Reading through the blog and all that Maralyn wrote all I can think of is that this is how a follower of Christ should enter heaven. What a wonderful example to all of us she has always been. I remember sitting with her in a room at Deb Rossi's and learning how to love my husband better. It has always stayed with me and served me well. I know your loss is great. Thankfully, we don't grieve as those who have no hope. I look forward to seeing her beautiful, loving smile again on the other side. We will keep your family in our prayers. May His presence be very real to you, now. Sincerely, Lisa and Kent Primrose

Dear Jim,

We have just read about your loss from Ristin Voitto magazine where Pasi Parkkila has written the obituary after our dear sister Maralyn. We are so happy to become to know both of you during your stay in Finland. Please receive our deep sympathy and prayer for you. Let our Lord comfort you in His Spirit and let He give you the assurance as He said: "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life"

Love in Him,
Kari and Pirkko Repo

Is there any chance that somebody might update the blog on how Maralyn's remembrance ceremony went? For those of us that couldn't make it it would be really wonderful. I hope everyone is feeling God's comfort.

love Eerika
