Maralyn's Updates
About Me
- Name: Maralyn
Many of you who will read this page know me, so you already know that I love to cook, travel and take pictures. You also know that Jim and I were AG missionaries in Europe from 1988 to 2007, teaching at Continental Theological Seminary in Belgium and Iso Kirja Bible College in Finland. Our last year in Europe we were also part of the pastoral staff at Espoo International Christian Fellowship in the Helsinki area. We have returned to the States because I have been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). This return to America was a bit before we had planned it, but none before God planned it. So we are now back in Wisconsin where we taught school before going to Europe. We continue to do missions projects with the Regional Director of AGWM Europe, Greg Mundis. We have purchased and remodeled the home that Jim built for his parents in 1979. Grandpa and Grandma's house is staying in the family! :-) One of our claims to fame is that we are "Mummo and Ukki" (Finnish words for Grandma and Grandpa) to five grandchildren: Reuben, Levi, Elliana, Micah, and Jolene. Our other is that as of June 1, 2008 we have have been married 40 years! mm

Merry Christmas Mathias family! Brad, Georgie and Molly
What a GORGEOUS photo of a GORGEOUS family! I adore the children in their matching outfits! Thanks sooo much for sharing this. These smiles make our holidays bright!
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you both. We have thought of you guys often, and by the picture seems like everyone is very happy! Seeing you all together, makes us miss home even more. Have a great holiday. With love the Wilson Family
Maralyn, we may not respond much, but we are ever present in our prayers and hearts. You and Jim have always been leaders and examples of Christ in our lives. I have now taught around the world in YWAM, and two of my favorite tools for communicating cross-cultural mission principles came from you way back when we visited you in Belgium that year. When? Wow. Now you are both so near. We want to come and see you sometime! When?
Thankyou for your blogs and heart, and living in truth.

Hi Maralyn and Jim, Happy New Year. We are very present with you during these times, even though we don't blog much. You two have always been an inspiration of service and Christ's character for us, and we have been impacted by it again and again. As I travel the world teaching in Youth With A Mission, I still use two tools that Maralyn, you gave to me while we visited you in Belgium so long ago. They are dynamic tools for cross-cultural strategy.
You are now so close. Can we come to viit you? We need some cheese curds!!!!
Please let us know and we'll drive out for the day!
